So... it's been some time once again. Let's just get right down to it. It has been quite a few years, hasn't it? First Covid, and now... more Covid. Thankfully we're getting back to some semblance of normal at least. I have been hard at work trying different jobs out and to my surprise, getting one hell of a talking to by a potential employer. The way he talked left me quite annoyed, but also motivated because, well, he was right. I was going through the motions of jobs I didn't want and not even putting in the effort. It was my own fault, but it was also a wake-up call. I knew exactly what I wanted to do, so this time, I finally went for it, and guess what? I got it, sort of.
My book was picked up by a small publisher. I don't know if you've heard of them but I am now an author with The Three Little Sisters Publishing Company. I have signed a contract and everything. My first book is set to be released in 2024! I know, a little long to wait, but at least it's coming. Sadly, I do not have the time to continue the series right now, I really wish I could, but I need to survive.
This is why I have been doing some writing works on the side as a freelancer! A board game narrative and a manga volume were my first two projects and I have all but finished them both. I am now on the hunt for more jobs like this that pay me a rate that I can live off of. If anyone knows of people hiring freelance writers to help them on fantasy or sci-fi projects that are willing to pay me 0.10c a word-CAN- I am so down! I can write a solid 10,000-15,000 words a week, so let's get to it and write an awesome book or game!
